For booking directly, a contract is required. The contract will be provided either in person or electronically and the required deposit is due at the time of the signing of the contract. A copy will be provided to both parties.
A deposit is required to secure your date in the calendar. Deposits are non-refundable and required of the time of booking.
In the event of a cancellation of your event, if the cancellation takes place within 30 days of the event, the balance of the event will be due.
Outdoor events require either man-made or natural shade cover as well as protection from precipitation. Outdoor events should ideally take place between 50 and 80 degrees farenheit.
Parking as close to the event should be provided. If valet parking is available, it is convenient and appropriate to include it for the harpist, but not necessary.
At the time of booking, it is nice to provide details as to accessibility in and out of the location, such as handicap accessibility with ramps, if there are stairs, and if, how many, elevator access, road conditions (whether there will be dirt/off road passages on the way to the venue).
Other Requirements at Venue Sight
In addition to considerations for outdoor venues, the harp also takes up a footprint of about 5' x 7'. If indoors, it is preferential to not be placed by a door or any situation where frequent temperature changes will take place as it becomes more difficult to keep the harp in tune in those situations.
